Develop the Right Video Strategy
There are many types of videos you can post to your website that will increase conversion. Displaying your inventory, service and parts specials and special events are just a small sample of the types of videos that will increase your dealerships visibility and increase conversion, time on site, and set your dealership apart by establishing a unique brand.
Nine steps to a better view:
a) Make sure you have a Video for every car in your Inventory with excellent pictures that let the viewer see all the key elements of the vehicle. This will not only help gain some SEO value but also build additional customer trust.
b) Develop a portfolio of satisfied sales and service customers and post them on your website, blog and your Facebook page to let other prospects understand that your dealerships focus is not only about selling cars, but taking care of your customers.
c) Prepare a video of your service inspection process that will clearly demonstrate the care that goes into each vehicle you service and reinforces that your service department is better than the jiffy lubes.
d) Capitalize on your dealerships sponsorship during a holiday, cookout or sporting event that demonstrates your dealerships community involvement.
e) Post a video of your employee of the month, and offer a special in the video if you mention that employees name when they come in for sales or service.
f) Shoot a video from your Dealer Principal or General Manager personally welcoming the viewer to your website encouraging them to stop in and pick up a special gift.
g) Let the customers understand the buying and service process with a series of videos walking customers through each stage, eliminating any surprises and making your customer more comfortable.
h) Invite and assist happy customer to submit a video walk around of their great new or pre-owned purchase and post them on your website.
i) Don’t forget to create a video of your staff that shows the lighter and warmer side of your dealership organization with a little humor and a touch of class.
The most important thing to remember is to use videos to provide accurate information and demonstrate a more pleasurable non threating environment that will enhance the customer experience. Use videos to show a different side of the car dealership—one that is more personable and community focused.
